Silent codepad alarms
In previous versions of the firmware, the codepad Panic / Fire / Medical alarm only can be
programmed as silent in the Location 493.
The firmware now supports to switch the codepad Panic / Fire / Medical alarm on or off in the
Location 404.

Codepad alarm when siren is on
In previous versions of the firmware, the codepad does not give an audio indication when the
system is in alarm.
The firmware now supports the codepad buzzer gives and audible alarm indication when the
siren is on.

Programmable System-wide tamper condition
The firmware now supports to program the hardware tamper condition as Off, Silent, Audible
or Trouble.
System-wide tamper (hardware tamper) includes:
– onboard tamper
– module tamper
– enclosure tamper
– codepad tamper, which can be individually enabled / disabled

Service mode
During configuration and programming of the system, the service mode can be used. If the
system is modified during service mode, there won’t be any alarms triggered.
Service mode expiry time
The service mode expiry time defines the time for how long the service mode will be active.
Possible values are 0 – 999.
If 000 is entered, the service mode won’t be enabled.
If 999 is entered, the service mode will stay on until it is disabled.
Service mode configuration
The service mode configurations can be set via an alphanumeric codepad or via A-Link Plus.
Reports can be enabled or disabled for the service mode.
Triggering outputs can be enabled or disabled for the service mode.
The codepad buzzer can be enabled or disabled for the service mode.
How to enable the service mode on an alphanumeric codepad

  1. Enter the installer code + [73] and press [#].
  2. Enter the service mode expiration time in minutes. Default: 999.
  3. Enable or disable the service mode report.
  4. Enable or disable the service mode output.
  5. Enable or disable the service mode codepad buzzer.
    The system is in service mode and the triangle LED is lit.
    How to disable the service mode on an alphanumeric codepad
    The service mode only has to be disabled if it has been enabled before.
  6. Enter the installer code + [73] and press [#].
  7. The system is in normal mode and the triangle LED is off.

Inquire cloud status
You can inquire cloud status with the alphanumeric codepad IUI-SOL-TEXT.
When the control panel is connected to the cloud module B4xx-M, go to menu 721 Network
Module to select B4xx-M and set it to enable.
Inquire the cloud status to check connection status to the cloud service and to view the
module UID.
How to view the cloud status and UID

  1. Enter your Installer Code or User Code, followed by [#].
  2. Press [1][2][3], the cloud status is shown.
  3. Press [#], the UID is shown.
  4. Press [-] to exit.
    You can also inquire cloud status with the ICON codepad.
  5. Enter the Installer Code or Master Code, followed by [1][2][3] and the [#] key.
  6. Cloud status displays on codepad indicator LED1 or LED2 corresponding to
    communicator 1 or 2.
    – Steady on – cloud online
    – Flash – cloud offline
  7. Press the [#] key to exit

Diagnose RF zones

  1. Enter the your Master Code, followed by [1][4][1] and the [#] key.
  2. Enter the device number (1 to 16) you want to check the RF strength, followed by the [#]
    key.
  3. Codepad indicator 1 ~ 16 is on or flashing depending on strength.
    – 16 indicators are on – strongest
    – 16 indicators are flashing – weakest
  4. Press the [#] key to exit.

Diagnose RF keyfobs

  1. Enter your Master Code, followed by [1][4][2] and the [#] key.
  2. Enter the keyfob number (1 to 32) you want to check the RF strength, followed by the [#]
    key. Up to 21 keyfobs on WE800EV2 or 32 keyfobs on RADION B810 can be check, but
    only current keyfob number (1 to 16) displays through zone indicators on the ICON
    codepad.
  3. Codepad indicator 1 ~ 16 is on or flashing depending on strength.
    – 16 indicators are on – strongest
  4. – 16 indicators are flashing – weakest
  1. Press the [#] key to exit.
